Boston Business Journal took a “Closer Look” at American Moving’s CEO/Founder, Kathleen Rowell, in this week’s print edition of the publication (May 1, 2020, Vol. 40, No. 11):
“Kathleen Rowell founded Rockland-based American Moving and Installation Inc. in 2009. According to Rowell, it is the only 100% woman-owned union commercial moving company in Massachusetts. A native of South Boston, Rowell previously spent more than 20 years working in the health care industry. She became exposed to the commercial moving industry during clean jobs, and grew her business from the ground up. In addition to serving as a board member of First Literacy, Inc., Rowell is an avid supporter of various organizations including Juvenile Diabetes (JDRF), Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Christmas in the City, National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, and the Boys & Girls Club, among others.”
Not only did Boston Business Journal shine the spotlight on Kathleen Rowell, but also named American Moving & Installation, Inc. as one of the largest moving and storage companies in Massachusetts. As an essential service provider, American is still accepting requests for moving and storage, which can be done directly through our website or by calling the main office at 781-878-8000.
